Free, no email

See what happens when someone tries to hire you.

Open your site on the phone you actually carry and follow the path from search to request; in about fifteen minutes, you’ll have a dated summary of what you saw, did not check, or could only confirm in your own systems.

Nothing entered here is sent to RP: no email gate, score, or sales estimate.

Use only a website you own or are authorized to test, and only your own test details.

The recorder needs JavaScript. The complete seven-step method and printable paper record remain available below.

Three moves. Seven checks.

  1. Set up: Confirm your authority and add the site and device details you want on the record.
  2. Walk: Open your site in a second tab. Return here after each check and record only what you saw.
  3. Keep: Create the summary, then copy, download, or print the record.

Anything you skip stays Not measured—an open question, not a failure.

Use only your own test details. Do not enter customer information, passwords, private URLs, or login details in this recorder.

Confirming this unlocks the recorder below.

Evidence key

Four honest labels

Choose one for each step. The labels describe your evidence, not a score.

Observed
You saw this happen during this run.
Owner-confirmed
You verified it in a system you control.
Not measured
You did not check this step. It remains an open question, not a failure.
Not in scope
This recorder cannot see it. Only your own systems can answer it.
  1. 01 Find the business as a stranger would

Open a new or private tab and search as a customer might.

Record: The words you searched and the page or listing you reached.

Keep it reproducible and free of customer or login details. 320 characters maximum.

  2. 02 Reach the quote or contact path

From that landing page, find the place where someone can send a request.

Record: The number of taps and the wording that got you there.

Keep it reproducible and free of customer or login details. 320 characters maximum.

  3. 03 Read the fields before filling them in

Before typing, read and count every field.

Record: Anything a new customer may not know or have available.

Keep it reproducible and free of customer or login details. 320 characters maximum.

  4. 04 Submit once with your own test details

Use your own details, mark the request as a test, and submit once.

Record: A confirmation, error, delay, or no visible change.

Keep it reproducible and free of customer or login details. 320 characters maximum.

  5. 05 Read the confirmation

Before leaving, read the complete confirmation.

Record: Its exact next-step promise, timeframe, or channel.

Keep it reproducible and free of customer or login details. 320 characters maximum.

  6. 06 Check the test inbox

Check the inbox you used, including filtered or spam folders.

Record: Only what appeared in that inbox during this run.

Keep it reproducible and free of customer or login details. 320 characters maximum.

  7. 07 Check the business-side system

In an authorized system, look for the source record or expected notification.

Record: The system checked—or Not measured / Not in scope if you cannot check it.

Keep it reproducible and free of customer or login details. 320 characters maximum.

Make the dated record

Every step is included. Anything you did not select remains Not measured—neutral and open, never a failure.

No-JavaScript method

Walk these seven checks

Use your own phone and test details. For each step, write only what you observed.

  1. 1. Find the business as a stranger would Open a new or private tab and search as a customer might. Record: The words you searched and the page or listing you reached.
  2. 2. Reach the quote or contact path From that landing page, find the place where someone can send a request. Record: The number of taps and the wording that got you there.
  3. 3. Read the fields before filling them in Before typing, read and count every field. Record: Anything a new customer may not know or have available.
  4. 4. Submit once with your own test details Use your own details, mark the request as a test, and submit once. Record: A confirmation, error, delay, or no visible change.
  5. 5. Read the confirmation Before leaving, read the complete confirmation. Record: Its exact next-step promise, timeframe, or channel.
  6. 6. Check the test inbox Check the inbox you used, including filtered or spam folders. Record: Only what appeared in that inbox during this run.
  7. 7. Check the business-side system In an authorized system, look for the source record or expected notification. Record: The system checked—or Not measured / Not in scope if you cannot check it.

Use Observed when you saw it, Owner-confirmed when you verified it in your own system, Not measured when you did not check, and Not in scope when this page cannot answer. Not measured remains neutral.

Five useful answers

What do I get at the end?

A dated evidence summary and a plain-text record. The summary separates what you observed or confirmed from what remains open and what requires access to your own systems. It does not turn those answers into a score or diagnosis.

Does this check my website for me?

No. It never visits, scans, or submits anything to your site. You walk the path on your own phone; this page organizes what you tell it you saw. That limit matters because an outside page cannot see your inbox, CRM, source record, or staff workflow.

What does a useful result look like?

Invented example: On harborstreetplumbing.example, the tester observed five taps from the search result to the quote form, owner-confirmed the matching source record, and left the inbox check as Not measured. The useful part is the specific route and the named open question—not a pass or fail.

What can this record prove?

Only what one authorized tester recorded on one device, network, and date. It does not establish future operation, leads, sales, revenue, inbox placement, human follow-up, or business loss. Not measured stays neutral; it means the run did not answer that question.

What do I do with the record?

If something differed from what you expected, send the relevant lines to whoever manages your site: what you did, what happened, and what you expected instead. If nothing differed, keep the dated record and repeat the test after the next meaningful change.
